Vaccination Schedule
I do not believe in over vaccinating your puppy. I have had had Veterinarians try to revaccinate my puppies because it was not them that gave the first shot/or first few shots. And no, I do not agree with that. I strongly believe that Chihuahuas being so small should not be over vaccinated. This is the vaccine Schedule we stick to.

Here is the schedule we follow:

8-9 weeks: Distemper + Parvo, MLV (Merck Nobivac Puppy DPV)
12-13 weeks: Distemper + Parvo, MLV (Merck Nobivac Puppy DPV)
16-20 weeks: Distemper + Parvo, MLV (Merck Nobivac Puppy DPV)

I can not stress this enough to all puppy owners. Do not ever let your puppy’s feet touch strange a ground until he/she has had all three of their puppy shots. One of the most dangerous places is your vet’s office- do not let your puppy on the floor there. Use your own pad, dispose of it after each appointment, but never the ground. Do not let your puppy outside in the grass, no parks, no pet stores (as tempting as it is) until fully vaccinated.

24 weeks or older, if allowable by law: Rabies Given 3-4 weeks apart from other vaccines.

1 year: Rabies (3-year product if allowed by law.) Given 3-4 weeks apart from other vaccines.

1 year: Distemper + Parvo, MLV (Merck Nobivac Puppy DPV)

Vaccinate for rabies virus according to the law.
